The Tarzan Tree Top Adventure Course is the first high-wire ropes course of its kind in Ireland.

The nerve-racking tree top obstacle course is set at varying heights above the ground that is sure to challenge and delight the hardened thrill-seeker, whilst inspiring and rewarding the carefully cautious.

As a fun challenge that always dominates conversation and makes for brilliant photographs, it’s ideal for team-building exercises.

Challenge your sense of adventure with over 50 exciting high wire obstacles, some up to 70ft high!

You’ll find yourself tackling exhilarating obstacles such as rope bridges, scramble nets, tunnels, Tarzan swings, tree top zipline, and of course the fantastic, spine-tingling Power Fan Drop which lets you experience the rush of a free fall Parachute jump – without the parachute!

But fear not, for the fool-proof belay system will ensure you make it safely back to solid ground with nothing but happy memories and that warm fuzzy feeling of achievement.

In addition to the safety gear provided, gloves MUST be worn at all times (ski gloves are too chunky but any other gloves would do; gloves can be purchased onsite if necessary)

Appropriate outdoor/sports clothing should be worn i.e. old trainers or hiking boots. Waterproofs/change of clothes may be advisable. Please dress appropriately according to the weather forecast.

Do you have to book activities?

Yes, all activities must be booked in advance before arrival. Please book as far in advance as possible, at the latest before 4pm for the following day.

Are there any restrictions for the course?

Minimum height: 1.42m/4ft 8" tall. Maximum weight: 18 stone/115kg. All participants must wear gloves.

Can I take pictures?

It is not advisable to bring a camera or any other loose, swinging or valuable items onto the Tree Top Course as it may affect your balance. Valuable items are brought onsite entirely at your own risk and The Jungle accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur.

Do I need to be fit or strong?

The Tarzan Tree Top Adventure Course does require a degree of physical fitness but you can take the course at your own pace and pause between obstacles should you so wish.

How long does the course take to complete?

The Full Tarzan Course will take 2-3 hours; the Taster Tarzan Course takes from 60-90 minutes.

I've a fear of heights, can I do the course?

You have nothing to fear from our Tree Top Adventure Course, it is 100% safe and has helped lots of knee-knocking participants overcome their fears! If you are having particular difficulties our fantastic Activity Instructors will help you conquer you fears and reach the finish line and that amazing sense of achievement.

Is the course suitable for those with special needs?

The Jungle NI is always flexible and will welcome all persons onsite. Our activities are designed to be accessible to most people however, the Tree Top Adventure Course does entail a degree of physical exertion and mental challenge. For some persons with special needs, the risk of injury from certain activities will be significantly greater than others. The Jungle NI, cannot advise on a participants ability to undertake any activity rather it remains the responsibility of the participant to make such an assessment prior to their visit.

Is there an instructor with you on the course?

You will receive a comprehensive safety briefing from our fully qualified Activity Instructors. While our Activity Instructors will not follow you every step of the way they will always be on hand should you need a little extra help or encouragement.

What happens in bad weather?

In extreme conditions such as very high winds or lightning storms we may need to reschedule. Otherwise we live by the slogan ' There is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing!'

What is the difference between the Taster course and the Full course?

The Taster course is a small portion of the Full Course it is made up of just 10 elements, the zip-line and power-fan-drop and lasts approximately 60-90 minutes. The Full Course is made up of over 50 elements, the zip-line and power-fan-drop and takes 2-3 hours to complete.

What is the maximum number of participants?

The maximum number in one hour slot is 20 people; or 44 people in a 3 hour slot.

What should I wear?

When is it available?

The Tree Tops Adventure Course is available seven days a week, from 10am, all year round. Late evening sessions can be arranged in summer months, in Winter however, sessions may be forced to conclude by 3pm due to lack of daylight.
