COUNTER STAFF

We are hiring Counter Staff to help in our fast paced restaurant. Full time and part time positions are available.

Experience is preferred but full training is provided.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and also a friendly and positive attitude.

The role will include customer service, food preparation, operating the till, handling cash and working as part of a team to provide excellent service.

The Lazy Llama

The Lazy Llama is based on site at The Jungle Outdoor Adventure Centre. This is a unique restaurant, with the working kitchen looking out onto the idyllic Jungle grounds. We serve Jungle customers, as well as our own customers an exciting range of takeout style food, with our own seasoned and unique style. You will work with a head chef with years of experience, having previously learned from and worked with a number of prestigious chefs around the world, been a chef at the Merchant Hotel, along with owning and holding the head chef role at Church Street, Magherafelt. You will work as part of a small and dynamic team, with innovation at the forefront of our menu.

The restaurant and cafe, which we also run, has a flexible schedule, decided by the owners of the Lazy Llama and in line with seasonal Jungle events and weekly activity schedules. You may be required to work over seasonal holiday periods (Bank Holidays, Halloween, Easter etc.), however this will be discussed with you at the interview stage.
