Easter is a time for family and of course, a lot of chocolate. It’s also perfect for relaxing and taking a well-earned break from the rush of 2025. If you are already anxious and tired about planning your 2025 Easter family outings, The Jungle has you covered! The Jungle is the ultimate Easter 2025 destination, with four events coming up this April for the entire family, including those four-legged family members. Easter is a little later this year, but make sure you are not late to the party, so read the following guide containing some useful information on what The Jungle offers this Easter and plenty of Easter puns!

EASTER TRAIL

Hop on over to The Jungle just outside Moneymore this year for a classic Easter adventure! Embark on an interactive journey through our enchanted forest, solving egg-citing puzzles and meeting colourful and friendly characters throughout, including some forest fairies and elves. Of course, it would not be Easter without the Easter Bunny, who will be greeting you at the end of the Easter Trail to reward you with some chocolate eggs – don’t forget to snap a photo with the Easter icon!

The Easter Trail lasts around an hour and takes you on a magical trek through The Jungle’s beautiful landscape and enchanted forest, so bring your most comfortable shoes! The trail will surely leave you eggs-hausted and hungry, but we will keep you refreshed with some tasty cocktail sausages, toasted marshmallows, and a drink of natural, sweet yet healthy birch water, harvested directly from the Birch trees growing on our land!

And why not make a day of it? Our Family Fun Days will be running on the same dates as the Easter Trail, with all our classic activities available throughout the day in exchange for tokens – and the kids’ Easter Trail entry even includes one Family Fun Day activity token to get you started!

EASTER FAMILY FUN DAYS

The Easter Trail pairs well with our classic Family Fun Days, which are back again for 2025, with the first one starting this Easter. Bring the entire family for a fun day out at The Jungle, with a basketful of activities available all day. While activities like the Bungee Trampoline, Quad Train, and Quad Bikes are only available for kids, the grown-ups can have some cracking fun as well, maybe showing off their aim at Archery, getting close to a fluffy friend at Llama Trekking, or testing their resilience on the Rodeo Bull. EASTER ADVENTURE CAMP

Looking to get the kids out of the house this Easter? The Jungle’s Easter Adventure Camp has you covered! Introduced only last year, the camp aimed at kids aged 7-12 runs for three days and is jam-packed with exciting activities, while also helping kids forge new friendships and come out of their shells!

The first day focuses on breaking the ice (or to be more fitting, cracking the egg?) and helping the kids to settle in and start building new friendships and connections. Once the ice has been broken, the kids will enjoy an egg-citing MEGA Fun Day, packed with adventure activities like Archery, Body Zorbs, Bungee Trampoline, Climbing Wall, Fun Zorbs, Llama Trekking, Rodeo Ride, Paintball Target Shooting, Pedal Boats, and Segways!

The second day of the Easter Adventure Camp will let the kids feel like Rambo, as they scramble into action with Laser Tag and the Kids Tree Top Adventure. During Laser Tag, they will be involved in exciting battles, allowing them to strategise, dodge, and shoot their way to victory! During Kids Tree Top Adventure, they will reach new heights and test their bravery in tree-top obstacles up to 25 feet high!

To finish off the egg-ceptional experience, the final day will be an ultimate showdown with the kids taking part in an old-fashioned colour war. The kids will be split into different coloured teams and take on a mixture of physical, skill, and mental challenges to cap off the Easter week!

DOG SHOW

Easter at The Jungle is not only all about those with two legs. Our annual Dog Show will be back this Easter, so bring your furry friends for a paw-some day out! Let your four-legged pals strut their stuff and test themselves against other pooches in up to 11 different categories – whether it’s the Toy Dog, Puppy, or Rescue Dog category, we have dogs of all shapes and sizes covered, while owners will also be judges in categories like Best 6 Legs and Young Handler! With the competition bound to be ruff, does your companion have what it takes to be top dog?

• £8 entry per dog for the first category, £4 per dog for each subsequent category

• Tuesday 22^nd of April (Registration is between 12:00-13:00, with the show starting at 13:30)

Whether you’re taking part in the Easter Trail, exploring what The Jungle has to offer during a Family Fun Day, or bringing your furry friend to the Dog Show, you will surely build up an appetite. Our Lazy Llama restaurant has you covered, with various burgers, chicken bites, and tasty BBQ treats available all day during our Easter events. Booking is not required, and you don’t have to be taking part in any activities to fill your belly!

The Jungle’s car park is directly opposite the site, highlighted by a sign marked ‘Car Park’. If you’re coming to us from the Desertmartin direction, you will turn left into the car park, and if you are coming from the Moneymore direction, you will turn right – there will be a brown ‘The Jungle Glamping’ sign just before the entrance.

Once you’re parked up, DO NOT CROSS THE ROAD. Follow the sign directing you across a small bridge towards an underground subway tunnel. Go through this tunnel (mind your head if you’re tall) and you will arrive safely at The Jungle. You will collect your Easter Trail and/or Family Fun Day stuff at the reception, which is the large building with The Jungle sign on it – you can’t miss it!

While dressing for the occasion is always important, make sure you also dress for the Northern Irish weather, as the majority of the event will be outdoors. If you’re doing the Easter Trail, we recommend some comfortable and sturdy footwear, as you will be walking a good distance.

Toilets and baby changing facilities are located outside at the back of the reception building, as well as behind the Lazy Llama restaurant.
