Paintball at the Jungle in Magherafelt, Mid Ulster

Welcome to the war

Ten distinct battle zones spread across the forest, from the Trenches and the Swamp to the Graveyard Fortress and a watchtower guarding an underground tunnel.

Suit up in overalls, mask and battle pack, split into teams and fight it out across a series of games and objectives. Every zone brings a different challenge, with plenty of ground to attack, defend, hide and plan your next move.

And yes, paintball can hurt. That’s part of the challenge.

What to expect

We’ll get everyone into their overalls, masks and battle packs before running through the safety briefing and showing you how your paintball marker works.

Then we’ll split you into teams and head for the battle zones. Across the session you’ll play a series of games with different objectives, with our instructors running each game and keeping things moving.

Between games you’ll return to the Safe Zone, where you can reload, grab a drink and get ready for the next round.

Summer evenings

Longer evenings mean more time for battle. Evening Paintball sessions are available during the summer from 5pm–8pm, with a minimum booking of 10 players.

Evening sessions aren’t available to book online, so give our team a call to arrange yours.

What to wear and bring

Wear comfortable clothes underneath your overalls and trainers or boots with good grip.

We provide your overalls, protective mask, battle pack and Paintball equipment. A change of clothes and footwear is worth bringing if the weather has been particularly wet.

Weather

Paintball runs outdoors in most weather conditions, so come dressed for the forecast. Rain can make some of the battle zones wet and muddy underfoot, but it won’t usually stop play.

In extreme weather, we may need to reschedule your session.

Booking

Half-day Paintball sessions are available to book online, with morning sessions from 10am–1pm and afternoon sessions from 1.30pm–4.30pm.

Online bookings close at 4pm the day before your session, so make sure you get booked in ahead of time.

Looking for the full-day experience? Our Extreme Full-Day 500 and Ultimate Paintball 1000 packages run from 10am–4.30pm and need to be booked directly with our team.

Summer evening sessions from 5pm–8pm are also available for groups of 10 or more. Give us a call to arrange yours.

Paintball FAQs

Does Paintball hurt?
It can. A paintball hitting bare or lightly covered skin can sting and occasionally leave a bruise. Your protective mask and overalls are provided, but Paintball isn't completely painless, that's part of the adrenaline.
What happens if I run out of paintballs during a game?
You can top up during your session. Just let one of our instructors know and they'll add the extra paintballs to your Player Card. You can settle up by cash or card at the Log Cabin once your session finishes. Extra paintballs are £8 for 100 or £35 for 500.
Which Paintball package should I choose?
Our half-day packages both give you three hours of Paintball, with either 300 or 500 paintballs included. If you want more time on the battle zones, our full-day packages run from 10am–4.30pm with either 500 or 1,000 paintballs.
Can I bring a camera or take pictures?
Not into the Game Zone itself, everything valuable is best left in the lockers we've got in the safe zone. Cameras and loose items don't mix well with the terrain.
Is there a spectator area?
No, everyone in the Game Zone has to wear a mask, so there's no viewing spot for anyone not playing.
What's inside the paintballs?
Our paintballs contain water-based paint and are biodegradable.
