Clay Pigeon Shooting at the Jungle in Magherafelt, Mid Ulster

Take aim for real

This is the real thing, shotguns, clay targets and a purpose-built sheltered range set into the forest. Whether you’ve never picked up a shotgun before or already know your way around one, our instructors will get you set up and ready to shoot.

Clay pigeon shooting works brilliantly on its own or as part of a bigger day at The Jungle, making it a popular choice for couples, groups, stag and hen parties and corporate days.

What to expect

Our instructor will show you how to handle the shotgun, talk you through the basics and make sure you’re comfortable before your first shot.

Then it’s onto the range. Clays are fired across your line of sight as you take aim and try to pick them out of the air. Our instructor stays with you throughout, helping you adjust your stance, timing and aim as you go.

Bringing your own shotgun? You’re welcome to use it, but you’ll need to bring your shotgun certificate and valid photo ID.

Weather

Our clay pigeon shooting range is sheltered, so a bit of Northern Irish weather won’t stop play. In extreme conditions, we may need to reschedule your session.
