Food at The Jungle Magherafelt

Food at The Jungle

All that adventuring works up an appetite. Between the Little Llama Cafe for snacks and drinks, and The Lazy Llama for a proper sit-down BBQ, you’re covered whether you’re grabbing a quick bite between activities or settling in for lunch.

The Little Llama Cafe

Open daily, no booking needed. Freshly made pizzas, sandwiches and toasties, crisps, nuts, chocolate and sweets, plus hot and cold drinks. Good for a quick refuel between activities or a proper stop if you fancy something more.

Eating as Part of a Booking

If you’re booked in for an activity, event or group day, hot food from The Lazy Llama can be arranged as part of your visit, any day of the week, not just the public weekend opening hours above. This is how school groups, corporate days and most events get fed.

The Lazy LLama

An authentic BBQ restaurant right on site, though run as its own separate business rather than by The Jungle directly. You don’t need to be booked into any Jungle activity to eat here, it’s open to everyone.

Public opening hours (walk-in, first come first served):

  • Friday: 12pm to 7pm
  • Saturday: 12pm to 7pm
  • Sunday: 12pm to 6pm

Indoor and outdoor seating, dog-friendly, and you’re welcome to bring your own drinks. Takeaway is available too, on 028 8621 1111.

Menus: view the Lazy Llama website for the latest menus.

Cooking Classes

The Lazy Llama Cookery School runs hands-on classes for anyone wanting to actually learn something rather than just eat, from complete beginners to people who already know their way round a smoker.

Parties & Private Hire

Beyond a normal sit-down meal, The Lazy Llama also hosts parties and private events, birthdays, corporate lunches, family get-togethers, anything worth gathering a crowd for. Smoky platters and sharing boards are the usual centrepiece.

For something bigger, the whole venue can be hired exclusively, with event spaces catering for up to 300 people.
