Zorbing at the Jungle in Magherafelt, Mid Ulster

Get in, roll down

The Jungle was the first in Ireland to bring Zorbing to the hills. Years later, there’s still nothing quite like climbing inside a giant inflatable ball and throwing yourself down one.

Choose your roll. Downhill Zorbing straps you in for a head-over-heels ride down the hill, while Hydro Zorbing adds water to the mix and sends you slipping and sliding around inside the ball as it rolls.

Both take up to two people per zorb, with a minimum booking of four people.

What to expect

Zorbing is a short, sharp hit of adrenaline rather than a long activity session. Our instructors will get you set up, make sure you’re safely inside the zorb and then it’s time to roll.

You’ll take your turn in pairs, with our team resetting the zorb between each roll. The ride down is quick, the kind of experience that’s over before you’ve quite worked out which way is up.

DOWNHILL ZORBING

Strapped in. Head over heels.

Climb inside the zorb, get securely strapped into your harness and prepare to see the hill from every possible angle.

With up to two people inside, you’ll tumble head-over-heels as the zorb makes its way down the hill.

HYDRO ZORBING

Same hill. Add water.

This time you’re not strapped in. A little water goes into the zorb with you before you’re sent down the hill, slipping and sliding around inside as the ball rolls.

Up to two people can take on the ride together, and yes, you’re going to get wet.

SEASON

Zorbing runs from April to September, with session times varying throughout the season.

Check our online booking calendar for current dates and availability.

Duration and price

£16 for your first roll, £6 for each roll after that.

What to wear and bring

Harness Zorbing: comfortable trousers and a long-sleeved top or jumper, something that covers your shoulders and neck under the harness. Shoes come off before you get in.

Hydro Zorbing: You’re going to get wet. Wear swimwear or clothes you’re happy to soak, and bring a towel and full change of clothes for afterwards.

Either way, remove jewellery and anything loose, sharp or breakable from your pockets first. We’d also recommend not eating a heavy meal beforehand.

Weather

Zorbing runs outdoors in most normal weather conditions throughout our April–September season.

In extreme weather, or if conditions make the hill unsuitable, we may need to postpone or reschedule your session.

Booking

Downhill and Hydro Zorbing run from April to September, with a minimum booking of 4 people.
